  • Clear Astroids

    This Visual Task has the most stages in the game.
    You have to tap the incoming meteors in quick succession to destroy them, when a total of twenty asteroids have been destroyed, the task completes.
    
    Each asteroid destroyed will complete one stage, meaning that you don't start over from the beginning if you are interrupted.
    
    Visual aspect: To the right you'll see a weapon shoot into the distance.
    
    Tip: Be careful with faking this as it is a Visual Task.

    Keep in mind that the leaves retain their motion movement, so you don't need to drag them all the way - it is more effecient to give each of them a small tug in the right direction.

    Tap the card in the lower left side of the wallet, and then swipe it to the right like you'd be swiping with a credit card.
    It needs to be timed carefully, swiping too slow or too fast will result in an error.
    
    Tip: Keep in mind that this is a Common Task - either everybody or nobody has it.
    Taskbar will go up when finishing the task, so keep that in mind when faking it.

    This task is located in upper right of Electrical. It requires good timing.
    A node circles around a colored ring. When it reaches the electrical module on the right side of the ring, the colored bar will light up and the player must tap the button underneath it - this advances it to the next one, it must be done for all 3 rings.
    If a mistake is made, the player must start over.
    
    Tip: Don't rush this task, if you make a mistake it will take longer.
    Taskbar will go up when finishing the task, so be careful with faking it.
    
    

• Lower Engine

  • Align Engine Output

    This task (commonly called "Simon Says") is located in the center of Reactor.
    There will be a display on the left side, highlighting which buttons to press on the keypad on the right side.
    If you make a mistake, you will have to start over with a new pattern - so be careful as to not mess it up.
    The task saves the progress if a body/meeting is called or if you leave voluntarily.
    
    Tip: Don't rush this task, if you make a mistake it will take longer.
    Taskbar will go up when finishing the task, but its still a great task to fake because it takes so long.
    
    

  • Unlock Manifolds

  • Submit Scan

    This Visual Task is located in the bottom right of MedBay.
    Step on top of the circular platform and wait for the scan to finish - it takes approximately 10 seconds.
    If you step off the platform before the scan is finished or if you're interrupted by body/meeting call, it will reset the progress.
    
    Visual aspect: The scan of the player is holographic and visible to other players.
    
    Tip: Be careful with faking this as it is a Visual Task.
    Only 1 player can do the scan at a time, if you try to scan while someone else is on it, it will give an error - so if Visual Tasks are off, you can still confirm someone as crewmate using that method.
    
    

  • Inspect Samples (vials)

    Both stages of this task are located at the same place in the lower right of MedBay.
    
    In the 1st stage, you must tap the green button in the bottom right - after pressing this, you can immediately exit (you don't need to wait for the animation to finish).
    A counter will be shown in your Tasks list (60s). You can begin 2nd stage when the counter has reached 0.
    
    For the 2nd stage, return to the task when the timer has expired.
    To complete the task, tap the button underneath the anomaly (vial with the red liquid).
    
    Tip: You don't need to wait for the pouring animation in 1st stage to finish before exiting.
    Taskbar will only go up once the last stage of this task is finished.
    
    

Visual & Common Tasks

• Visual Tasks

  • Visual Tasks are Tasks with a visual element that everyone can see being performed.
    Seeing someone do a Visual Task is proof that they are not an Impostor as Impostors can't do tasks.
    Visual effects for tasks can be turned off by the Host, so make sure you check the lobby settings before the game starts - so you don't accidentally accuse a crewmate of being Impostor.

• Common Tasks

  • Common Tasks are tasks that are given to every player (including the Impostors fake tasks list).
    If any player doesn't have any common task, no one has those tasks.
    There can be between 0-2 Common Tasks, the exact amount depends on the lobby settings placed by the Host.
    
    On The Skeld, the possible Common Tasks are Wires and Swipe Card in Admin
    

Tools & Emergencies

• Sabotage/Emergencies

  • Oxygen Emergency

    Critical: When Oxygen is sabotaged, the crewmates have 30 seconds to fix it - the Impostor(s) win if the counter reaches 0, as all the oxygen will be flushed out of the ship effectively killing all crewmates.
    
    To fix this sabotage, players need to enter the correct codes on two PIN pads, one in top right of Admin and the other in O2 - if you see many go towards one, you should split up and head to the other one.
    The PIN code will be shown on on a sticky note to the right.
    
    All sabotages (except doors) will prevent players from pressing the Emergency Button, though bodies can still be reported.
    Reporting a body will automatically fix this sabotage.
    
    Tip: Impostors can access the Sabotage map from the Sabotage button in the lower right of the screen.
    Sabotages are a good way to distract/buy time if you killed someone in the other end of the map.
    
    
    

  • Reactor Emergency

    Critical: When the Reactor is sabotaged, the crewmates have 30 seconds to fix it - the Impostor(s) win if the counter reaches 0, as it causes the Reactor to meltdown effectively killing all crewmates.
    
    To fix this sabotage, the two hand-scanners (top & bottom of Reactor) need to be held down simultaneously; it requires at least 2 players to do this.
    
    All sabotages (except doors) will prevent players from pressing the Emergency Button, though bodies can still be reported.
    Reporting a body will automatically fix this sabotage.
    
    Tip: Impostors can access the Sabotage map from the Sabotage button in the lower right of the screen.
    Sabotages are a good way to distract/buy time if you killed someone in the other end of the map.
    
    
    

  • Lights Emergency

    Not Critical: When Lights are sabotaged, it drastically reduces the vision radius for the Crewmates, so they will be unable to see other players around them until they are very close. The Impostor(s) vision remains unaffected, gaining them a large advantage.
    
    To fix this sabotage, players will have to flip the switches on a circuit breaker in Electrical and make the small light above each switch turn bright green.
    
    All sabotages (except doors) will prevent players from pressing the Emergency Button, though bodies can still be reported.
    Reporting a body won't fix this sabotage.
    
    Tip: Impostors can access the Sabotage map from the Sabotage button in the lower right of the screen.
    This sabotage is a good way to get a clean kill due to Crewmates' low vision radius, or to distract/buy time.
    
    
    

  • Comms Emergency

    Not Critical: When Communications are sabotaged, it prevents Crewmates from seeing their task list and only display the alert to fix the sabotage (although tasks can still be done, if you remember what and where they are).
    It also disables the Security Cameras and Admin Map, but doesn't affect the Impostor(s) fake Task List.
    
    To fix this sabotage, head to the bottom table of Communications and adjust the dial until the wavelengths match and the small red light is no longer lit.
    
    All sabotages (except doors) will prevent players from pressing the Emergency Button, though bodies can still be reported.
    Reporting a body won't fix this sabotage.
    
    Tip: Impostors can access the Sabotage map from the Sabotage button in the lower right of the screen.
    This sabotage is a good way to buy time if the crewmates are completing their tasks too fast
    
    
    

• Sabotaging Doors

  • The Impostor can sabotage the doors to specific rooms by pushing the Door Sabotage button from the Sabotage map.
    
    When doors are sabotaged, they remain shut for 10 seconds, followed by a 20 second cool-down.
    This can be pretty useful before committing a kill and venting out, or to prevent crewmates from entering certain rooms.
    
    While the doors are closed, sabotages (except other doors) cannot be triggered, so make sure you plan ahead.
    
    Doors that can be sabotaged:
    Cafeteria Doors
    Storage Doors
    Electrical Doors
    Lower Engine Doors
    Security Doors
    Upper Engine Doors
    Medbay Doors
    
    Tip: You can access the Sabotage map from the Sabotage button in the lower right of the screen.
    

• Using Vents

  • There are 14 vents that the Impostor can use.
    Not all of them are connected - so it is important to have them memorised if you want to escape suspicion after a clean kill.
    
    When the Impostor is close to a vent, the Sabotage button will be replaced with the Vent button.
    Crewmates in the vicinity can see the animation when you jump down a vent.
    
    Once in the vents, arrows are displayed, pointing in the directions of connected vents - always make sure no one is around you and there are no cameras on in the area when exiting.
    Hiding in the vents pauses both the player's kill and sabotage cooldowns until exited.
    
    Vents that are connected:
    Cafeteria-Admin-Hallway
    Upper Navigation-Weapons
    Lower Navigation-Shields
    Electrical-Security-MedBay
    Lower Engine-Reactor

    Tip: While vents allow for faster transportation for an Impostor, it can easily out you. Even if someone doesn’t see you use the vents, your disappearance from one area and reappearance in another can draw suspicion, so use the vents strategically. Wiki for more strategy tips.
    

• Tools/Abilities

  • Emergency Button

    The Emergency button is located by the starting location.
    Pushing the button brings all the living players together for an Emergency Meeting where you can discuss and vote, just like when a body is found.
    
    The button should only be used for actual emergencies (e.g. you see the Impostor vent) as it interrupts everyone.
    
    Tip: The button cooldown and amount of times it can be used per player is determined by the Host.
    
    

  • Admin Map

    The Admin Map (close map) is an ability all players can use, it shows how many players are in each room in real-time.
    
    This is very useful to verify that people are where they claim to be; if someone claims to have been in Comms but the map showed otherwise for the whole round, you know they are lying.
    
    All players will be shown as Yellow on the map, and it doesn't show exact positions nor people in corridors.
    Dead bodies and Impostors inside of vents will be shown.
    
    Tip: When a Crewmate is killed, the icon in the room they died in will flash. So if there are only two people in a room, one of them blinks and a body is reported immediately after, it's likely a self-report.

  • Security Cameras

    The Security Cameras is an ability all players can use
    It shows real-time video feed from 4 locations - it can be used to know where players went/came from, piece together the events preceding a murder, or even catch impostors murdering/venting on screen.
    When a player is using the Security Cameras, they will all be blinking red.
    
    Top Left Camera provides a view of the hallway by of O2, Navigation & Shields.
    
    Top Right Camera provides a view of the hallway below Cafeteria, by Admin and Storage.
    
    Bottom Left Camera provides a view of the hallway above MedBay, between Cafeteria and Upper Reactor.
    
    Bottom Right Camera provides a view of the hallway just ouside Security.
    
    Tip: Impostors kill cooldown is paused while they're using the Security Cameras.
    Whilst unaffected by lights sabotage, an unresolved comms sabotage disables them.
